Our Executive Director

Meredith Browning

Meredith Browning is the Executive Director for Partners Advancing Student Success (PASS), stepping into the role in 2025 after serving as a dedicated student advocate within the organization.

​

Meredith is a graduate of Carrollton High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of West Georgia (UWG). Meredith brings over two decades of experience in public service, having served with the Carrollton Police Department prior to joining PASS. Much of her law enforcement career focused on youth advocacy, child welfare, and supporting families in crisis. Meredith worked closely with DFCS, conducted investigations involving juvenile offenders, crimes against children, and collaborated regularly with local schools, social workers, and community partners.

She holds a deep commitment to improving outcomes for students facing barriers beyond the classroom. Her leadership style is rooted in servant leadership, emphasizing empathy, accountability, and team support. Meredith has also completed extensive leadership and professional development training during her career and continues to champion collaborative efforts across Carroll County to help students succeed. She is passionate about student advocacy and believes in the power of strong partnerships between families, schools, and local organizations to change lives.  In addition to her director responsibilities, Meredith will continue to carry a caseload of students and serve as an advocate.

In her personal time, Meredith enjoys time with her husband, Ryan, and their daughter, EmmaRyan, who keeps her very busy. She loves to read, watch baseball, research genealogy, and travel backroads. She is actively engaged in her church, Roopville Road Baptist, where she serves in the preschool ministry, the baptistry ministry, and the security team.
